Connect Nexus to your local printers

Nexus Print is a small desktop agent your team installs once on each warehouse PC. It bridges Nexus in the cloud to USB, network, and thermal printers on your LAN — so pick lists, shipping labels, and barcodes print instantly without browser pop-ups or manual file downloads.

What Nexus Print does

Print from Nexus, not your browser

Shipping labels, packing slips, pick lists, and barcode sheets are sent directly to the printer configured on that workstation — no PDF save-and-open steps.

Works with your existing hardware

Supports common thermal label printers (Zebra, TSC, Xprinter), office laser printers, and network printers already installed on Windows.

Secure pairing

Each install is linked to your Nexus organization via a one-time pairing code. Print jobs are scoped to your tenant — nothing is shared across customers.

Installation

  1. Download and run the installer

Run NexusPrint-Setup-win-x64.exe on the PC connected to your warehouse printer. Administrator rights may be required for the first install.

  2. Sign in to Nexus

Open Nexus Print from the system tray, click Pair with Nexus, and sign in with your Nexus account — or paste the pairing code from Settings → Integrations → Nexus Print in the web app.

  3. Select your default printer

Choose the local printer Nexus Print should use for labels and documents. You can override the printer per document type in Nexus settings.

  4. Print a test label

In Nexus, open any order or pick list and click Print label. If the test prints correctly, Nexus Print is ready for your team.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Nexus Print on every computer?
Only on PCs that need to print to a local printer. If your team prints from a single warehouse station, one install is enough. Each workstation that prints should have its own Nexus Print instance paired to the same organization, with the correct local printer selected.
Does Nexus Print work without the browser open?
Yes. Nexus Print runs as a background service in the Windows system tray. Once paired, it listens for print jobs from Nexus in the cloud — your team can trigger prints from any device logged into Nexus, and the job routes to the paired PC.
Is the installer safe? Why isn't it in the Microsoft Store?
Nexus Print is distributed directly by AiForStartups and signed with our code-signing certificate. Installers are served over HTTPS from api.nexus.aiforstartups.io. Enterprise customers can request an MSI package or internal deployment via Group Policy — contact [email protected].
What data does Nexus Print access on my computer?
Nexus Print only accesses your Windows printer list and print spooler to send jobs you trigger from Nexus. It does not read files, email, or other applications. Pairing credentials are stored locally in the Windows credential store and scoped to your organization.
