AiForStartups ("we", "our", "us") operates the Nexus platform — an operations system for e-commerce and retail businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services, including integrations with third-party messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (account details, business data), information generated through your use of the platform (order data, customer interactions), and technical data (IP addresses, device information, usage analytics).

When you connect WhatsApp or Facebook integrations, we may also process:

• Messages sent and received via WhatsApp Business API
• Messages, comments, and interactions from your Facebook Page
• Customer contact information shared through these channels
• Media files (images, documents) exchanged in conversations

3. WhatsApp Integration

Nexus integrates with the WhatsApp Business API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to allow you to send and receive messages with your customers. By enabling this integration, you acknowledge that:

• Messages are processed through Meta's infrastructure and subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy
• You are responsible for obtaining necessary consent from your customers before messaging them
• Message content is stored within our platform to support your customer service operations
• We do not use your WhatsApp conversation data for advertising or share it with unauthorized third parties

4. Facebook Integration

Nexus integrates with the Facebook Graph API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to allow you to manage communications from your Facebook Page. By enabling this integration, you acknowledge that:

• Data is processed through Meta's infrastructure and subject to Facebook's Privacy Policy
• We access only the permissions you explicitly grant during the Facebook login flow
• Page messages and interactions are stored within our platform to support your operations
• You may revoke our access to your Facebook Page at any time through your Facebook settings

5. Data Isolation

Nexus is a multi-tenant platform. Your organization's data — including all messages and customer information from connected channels — is isolated using PostgreSQL Row-Level Security and remains invisible to other users. Data sharing between customers does not occur.

• To provide and operate the Nexus platform
• To process customer communications on your behalf via connected channels
• To generate analytics and reports for your business
• To improve platform performance and reliability
• To comply with legal obligations

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal purposes. Message history from WhatsApp and Facebook integrations is retained for the duration of your subscription.

8. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security practices and conduct regular security reviews. However, no transmission method over the internet is entirely secure.

9. Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to track visitor interactions on our website. These services collect device, browser, and usage pattern information. You may opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

10. Your Rights

11. Third-Party Services

The platform integrates with Meta (WhatsApp & Facebook), Supabase, and DigitalOcean. Each service maintains separate privacy policies governing their data use.

Our services are not intended for individuals under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
